Heirloom ʻUlu Collection • Pareu
Inspired by one of our favorite motifs in nature, the ʻulu (breadfruit), this collection honors a plant deeply rooted in Hawaiian culture. Brought to Hawaiʻi by Polynesian voyagers in ancient times, ʻulu is a traditional canoe crop and an enduring staple across the islands. Plus, it’s super ono and amazingly beautiful!
Crafted in 100% cotton, this pareu features our hand-drawn Heirloom ʻUlu design. Inspired by Hawaiian quilt textile art—known for its bold, symmetrical forms—the motif is paired with palaka, a check-patterned textile that became part of everyday life in Hawaiʻi in the late 19th century.
Generously sized at 73” × 54”, and made from 100% cotton—a breathable, natural fiber that only gets softer.
Timeless and versatile, pareu are made to last. With proper care, they’re worn for years, from cool evenings to sunny beach days and everything in between.
